🌿 CEREMONY OF YOU

An artistic research platform

Ceremony of You is an interdisciplinary artistic research platform exploring perception, presence, and the pre-cognitive conditions of inquiry.
Working through performance, voice, movement, writing, and participatory formats, the project investigates how attention, openness, and relational presence shape the capacity to question, engage with uncertainty, and remain in inquiry without premature closure.
The work approaches artistic practice not as representation or instruction, but as a research process grounded in lived, embodied experience.

Artistic Research Context

Ceremony of You operates as a platform for embodied artistic research situated at the intersection of performance, phenomenology, and inquiry-based practices.
Projects developed within this framework function as performative laboratories, creating conditions in which perception, attention, and relational dynamics can be observed as qualitative phenomena.
Rather than producing outcomes, the work focuses on the conditions under which inquiry emerges — how questions arise, how uncertainty is held, and how perception shifts within shared environments.
This research is intended to operate within interdisciplinary and scientific contexts, engaging in dialogue with researchers, technologists, and thinkers across disciplines.

Methodological Approach

The practice draws from:
artistic research
phenomenology
embodied inquiry
Performance functions as a research instrument, allowing shifts in perception, attention, and relational presence to be experienced and reflected upon in real time.
Formats include:
solo embodied research sessions
participatory performative laboratories
dialogical encounters and performative lectures
reflective and research-based writing
These formats treat lived experience as a site of inquiry rather than expression.

Selected Research Projects

I Am the Power

Format: Performative work / embodied research
An investigation into the relationship between voice, presence, and agency.
The project examines how internal states influence expression and perception, contributing to an ongoing inquiry into embodied conditions of questioning.

Voice as Inquiry

Format: Embodied sessions / participatory practice
An ongoing research focusing on voice as a perceptual instrument.
Through guided embodied sessions, participants explore how vocal resonance, breath, and listening affect awareness, attention, and relational presence.

Ceremony of You

Format: Artistic research platform
An evolving framework bringing together performance, writing, and participatory inquiry to explore consciousness, openness, and the unknown through lived experience.

Research Orientation

This work does not aim to explain scientific research or translate scientific concepts into artistic representation.
Instead, it proposes a parallel mode of inquiry — an embodied reflection on how knowledge emerges, how perception is shaped, and how inquiry itself is sustained within environments of uncertainty.
